Ion Mitrea war zwischen 1965 und 1975 einer der angesehensten „Kunstlehrer“ am Lyzeum für bildende Kunst in Cluj-Napoca. Seine Vision war es, die Eindrücke, mit chromatischen Bereichen, die als „farbige Grautöne“ bezeichnet wurden, zu wiedergeben. Aber nicht nur die Symphonie der Farben war für ihn so besonders. Die Theorie der Komposition, die in seinen Werken umgesetzt hat, und diese den Schülern vermittelt hat, war sehr wichtig. Die Technik des Dosierens des Pinselduktuses, die den Generatoren der Komposition in engem Zusammenhang mit der Materialität der dargestellten Objekte folgt, ist nur eine der vielen Eigenschaften seines Kunstwerks. Der Einfluss der französischen Malerei vom Beginn der „Avantgarde“ – Bewegungen von 1915 bis 1925, beeinflusste seine Ausdrucksformen. Tapfer und nonkonformistisch, aber realistisch und objektiv gelang es ihm auch, Szenen aus dem Zeugnis der rumänischen und siebenbürgischen Geschichte zusammenzufassen. Ich stehe der Idee nahe, seine Methoden der Inhaltsreduktion für den Ausdruck der wichtigsten Merkmale von Objekten teilweise mit den Ausdrucksformen von Piet Mondrians „Neoplastizismus“ in seiner Arbeit „Le Néo-Plasticisme“ von 1920 in Verbindung zu bringen.

Ion Mitrea was between 1965-75 one of the most respected „art teachers“ at the High School of Fine Arts in Cluj-Napoca.
His vision was to reproduce the impressions picking up with chromatic ranges called „colored grays.“ But not only the symphony of colors was so special to him, the theory of composition, transposed in his works and in the exceptional content taught to the students of the school! The technique of dosing the brush, following the generators of the composition in close connection with the materiality of the rendered objects, is just one of the many qualities of his work of art. The influence of French painting from the beginning of the „Avantgarde“ movements of 1915-1925 influenced his views.
Brave and non-conformist, but realistic and objective, he also managed to recap scenes from the testimony of Romanian and Transylvanian history.
I am close to the idea of partially associating his methods of content reduction for the expression of the most important features of objects with the initial forms of Piet Mondrian’s „Neoplasticism“ in his 1920 work „Le Néo-Plasticisme“.

Entre 1965 et 1975, Ion Mitrea était l’un des „professeurs d’art“ les plus respectés du Lyceum for Fine Arts de Cluj-Napoca. Sa vision était de reproduire les impressions avec des zones chromatiques appelées „tons gris colorés“. Mais ce n’était pas seulement la symphonie des couleurs qui lui était si spéciale. La théorie de la composition, qu’il met en œuvre dans ses œuvres et la transmet aux étudiants, est très importante. La technique du dosage du coup de pinceau, qui suit les générateurs de la composition en lien étroit avec la matérialité des objets représentés, n’est qu’une des nombreuses caractéristiques de son œuvre d’art. L’influence de la peinture française depuis le début des mouvements «avant-gardistes» de 1915 à 1925 a influencé ses formes d’expression. Brave et anticonformiste, mais réaliste et objectif, il a également réussi à résumer des scènes du témoignage de l’histoire roumaine et transylvanienne. Je suis proche de l’idée de combiner ses méthodes de réduction de contenu pour exprimer les caractéristiques les plus importantes des objets avec les expressions du «néoplasticisme» de Piet Mondrian dans son œuvre «Le Néo-Plasticisme» de 1920.
